The mission of the Troy Arts Council is to promote arts in the community of Troy through awareness, appreciation, education and support, creating a connection between artists and audiences to enrich the quality of life for all.

Through the Troy Community Theatre, TAC produces a fun, family community theatre performance each summer, as well as a number of smaller shows and musicals throughout the year. These shows are open to the public and community members of all ages are encouraged to audition and participate.

From visual art instruction to local art walks, the Troy Arts Council has sponsored graphic art advancement in the community. We hope to offer several graphic art classes and events in the coming year, and seek to partner with members of the community to support this goal by offering their space for classes, teaching or sponsoring a class.

Musical arts
Currently, musical arts are offered in our community through Troy Junior Senior High School music program, and through private instruction by local instructors. Troy Arts Council is happy to connect members of the community with local, qualified, private voice and instrumental instructors to anyone who inquires.
